Massive New Migrant Caravan To Leave Honduras; Overloaded El Paso Faces Imminent “Crisis”
“They say they are even bigger and stronger than the last caravan,” according to Irma Garrido of migrant advocacy group Reactiva Tijuana Foundation.
News of the new caravan comes as thousands of Central American migrants from an October caravan remain stranded at various cities along the US-Mexico border as they face wait times of up to several months for the United States to process their asylum requests. What’s more, if migrants cannot justify their asylum claims, they may be denied.
Coordinators who helped direct the migrants on the 2,000-mile trek with bullhorns, arranging for buses and giving advice along the way, have mostly vanished. Many of the migrants say they feel abandoned and unsure where to turn next. Some are ready to return home.
Garrido said this new, larger caravan will probably be joined by more people in El Salvador and in Guatemala, but she said they don’t plan on coming straight to the Tijuana-San Diego border, where resources are already stretched nearly to a breaking point. –LA Times

Manhunt Underway for Illegal Alien who Killed California Police Officer
Law Enforcement in California are currently undertaking a manhunt for an illegal alien accused of murdering a police officer in the City of Newman, in Stanislaus County.
The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Department thus far has declined to provide a name for the suspect being sought, on the basis of waiting to be absolutely certain of it. However, county authorities seem to have enough of a grasp on the suspect’s identity to describe him as someone who is in the country illegally.
The suspect is sought in regards to the Wednesday murder of a Newman Police Officer, Ronil Singh. According to the Sheriff’s Department, Singh had stopped the suspect as part of a DUI investigation early Wednesday morning. He reported that shots had been fired shortly afterwards, and Officer Singh was found at the scene with gunshot wounds. Read more here

ICE: 158,581 Illegals Arrested in FY2018; Those Arrested Had 1,641 Homicide Convictions, 1,294 Kidnap Convictions
(CNSNews.com) — The latest U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) report on arrests and removals of illegal aliens shows that the total number of arrests in Fiscal Year 2018 was 158,581, an increase of 11% over the total arrests in FY 2017.
In addition, the report reveals that among those arrested were individuals with 1,641 homicide convictions, 1,294 kidnapping convictions, 3,740 sexual assault convictions, more than 54,000 DUI convictions, and more than 55,000 dangerous drug offense convictions.
Fiscal Year 2018 covered the period from Oct. 1, 2017 to Sept. 30, 2018. The report details the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) for that year. “ERO identifies, arrests, and removes aliens who present a danger to national security or a threat to public safety, or who otherwise undermine border control and the integrity of the U.S. immigration system,” states ICE in the document. Three Illegal Aliens Murdered American for Reporting Illegal Hiring Scheme
Three illegal aliens have been indicted for murdering an American citizen who reported the illegal aliens’ ten-year business scheme wherein illegal aliens were hired instead of U.S. workers.
According to an unsealed indictment out of Savannah, Georgia, illegal alien brothers 49-year-old Pablo Rangel-Rubio and 42-year-old Juan Rangel-Rubio, along with 49-year-old illegal alien Higinio Perez-Bravo have been charged with the murder of 41-year-old Eliud Montoya — a naturalized U.S. citizen — after he reported illegal hiring practices.
Prosecutors say the Pablo Rangel-Rubio paid Perez-Bravo to help his brother in murdering Montoya just days after the American filed a formal complaint with federal officials claiming that Pablo Rangel-Rubio had been operating a ten-year illegal hiring scheme at a tree service company and had profited more than $3.5 million in the process. Gunmen Assassinate Mexican Border State Judge, Prosecutor
CIUDAD VICTORIA, Tamaulipas – Investigators in this border state are looking into the recent assassination of a state judge and a prosecutor. The occurred as the two drove away from a courthouse.
The Tamaulipas government is offering a $1.5 million pesos ($75,000 USD) for information regarding the double murder of Judge Abelardo Ibarra Torres and Erika Dolores Granados Flores, who was a prosecutor and handled various organized crime cases. The incident happened this week when the two left a state courthouse in Ciudad Victoria. Both were riding in a blue Mini Cooper when a group of gunmen ambushed them in the Haciendas del Santuario neighborhood. Read more here
