Thousands of Hondurans in U.S.-bound migrant caravan head into Mexico
TAPACHULA, Mexico (Reuters) – A U.S.-bound caravan of thousands of mostly Honduran migrants whom President Donald Trump has declared unwelcome, began pouring into the Mexican border city of Tapachula on Sunday, setting up impromptu camps in public parks under a heavy rain.
Many members of the caravan, exhausted from the hours-long trek on foot from the Guatemalan border, mostly ignored police offers to board buses heading to a migrant shelter because of suspicions they might be deported instead.
The migrants have defied threats by Trump that he will close the U.S.-Mexico border if the caravan advances, as well as warnings from the Mexican government that they risk deportation if they cannot justify seeking asylum in Mexico.
Police in riot gear shadowed the caravan’s arrival along a southern highway, but did not impede their journey. Read more at Yahoo News
DHS warns migrant caravan: ‘U.S. will use force if necessary to stop illegal entry’
The migrant caravan heading towards the U.S. border appears to be growing in number by the day.
Despite warnings from President Trump to leaders of Central American countries that he would cut financial aid if they failed to act, the caravan’s numbers are growing, having reportedly reached 4,000 or more people on Wednesday.
Following criticism from open border proponents who say stopping the caravan is a human rights issue that will inevitably lead to child separations, Trump took a hard line, suggesting he may utilize the United States military to secure the border from the large wave of migrants. Read more here
Tucker: “A Caravan’s Worth Of Uninvited Migrants Arrives At Our Border Every Few Days”
Tucker Carlson said Thursday night on Fox News that “the most recent estimate suggests that a caravan’s worth of uninvited migrants arrives at our border every few days.”
The migrant caravan currently headed to the U.S. has reportedly grown to an estimated 4,000 people.
“Why is this happening? Because an entire political party is inviting it and encouraging it,” Tucker said.
Illegal Alien Invaders Coming To Take The North
“We are coming to take the North.” That doesn’t sound like immigrants fleeing persecution, oppression, or violence against them because of ethnicity. It sounds like the chant of an army intent on invading another sovereign nation in order to subdue it.
If you look at the videos being posted by RT and Infowars.com, how many women and children can you pick out in the group of thousands of men tearing down the fence along the Mexico/Guatemala border? Several were watched and only men could be found. Of course, that could be the cameraman videoing for effect; doubt it. The Washington Times story contained interviews with some of the illegal alien invader women who reported children having difficulty because of the large crowd on the bridge. RGV Texas Border Patrol Chief Begs For Help Before Caravan Hits as Over 12,000 Illegals Caught in Last Three Weeks in Rio Grande Valley; 700 Caught Saturday
Thousands of illegal aliens are swarming the Texas border this month in advance of the migrant caravan marching through Mexico, prompting Chief Patrol Agent Manuel Padilla, Jr., the Customs and Border Patrol Sector Chief of the Rio Grande Valley, to beg for help dealing with the onslaught of illegal aliens, gang members and drug cartel smugglers. Just on Saturday over 700 illegal aliens were caught, with over 12,000 caught in the past three weeks. In addition, safe houses have been busted and drug smugglers intercepted by the overstretched CBP in the Rio Grande Valley.
16,000 “family units” were reported caught in the last month in the RGV sector by CBP. All these illegals take manpower and resources to detain, process, house, clothe, feed, and give medical treatment. See more here
